A casino CCTV monitor’s responsibilities center on closed-circuit television (CCTV) surveillance to **detect and prevent illicit activities**, such as fraud, theft, or suspicious behavior by customers and staff, ensuring compliance with **gaming regulations**, reporting real-time incidents to security, supporting investigations, and operating cameras to **control game flow and key areas**, including tables and cashier stations. **Primary Responsibilities:** * **Observation and Surveillance:** Continuously monitor all closed-circuit television (CCTV) feeds to observe gameplay, cashier areas, lounges, and personnel. * **Detection of Irregularities:** Identify suspicious behavior, attempted fraud, theft, or cheating by players, employees, or vendors. * **Communication:** Maintain constant communication with security personnel, coordinators, and radio operators to report incidents and updates. * **Reporting and Recordkeeping:** Generate detailed incident reports, log events, and provide video footage or information upon request for internal or external investigations. * **Operational Oversight:** Monitor real-time compliance with casino policies, procedures, and gaming regulations. * **Camera Operation:** Operate cameras to focus on specific areas and cover blind spots. **Overall Objective:** * **Deter** fraud and theft, and **promote** a safe and fair gaming environment, protecting casino assets and game integrity. **Key Skills:** * Excellent observational skills and attention to detail. * Strong communication skills to convey accurate information. * Ability to work under pressure and as part of a team. * Knowledge of security protocols and monitoring systems.
