**Job Description** ------------------------- Supervises, monitors, and tracks the assignment of Tractor-Trailer Operators per Transport Unit to meet cargo loading, supply, and/or delivery plans in order to satisfy customer demand. Responsible for ensuring safe operating conditions (driver, equipment, and delivery zones) with the goal of achieving zero accidents. **Key Responsibilities** --------------------------------- 1. Ensures, together with the paramedic at the start of each shift, that operators are in optimal health condition to operate equipment and conducts 5-minute safety talks to ensure operations are carried out safely. 2. Daily verifies correct completion and audits the operator’s checklist (physical–mechanical condition of the unit) and its legal documentation (circulation card, emissions verification, insurance, etc.), with the aim of providing missing documentation or routing the unit for maintenance. 3. Reviews daily equipment availability versus maintenance reports to assign and optimize the mobile fleet. 4. Pre-assigns units according to supply chain type and executes the operator assignment plan per unit. 5. Tracks operators regarding loading, transportation, and unloading of self-carrier units across various supply chains (bulk, raw materials, aggregates, and bagged products), by destination and loading point. 6. Verifies pending deliveries for the day with ADLOG—including quantity and destinations—to support decision-making aligned with the loading schedule. 7. Records daily working hours per operator based on trip logs, as well as incentives (payroll items), for biweekly payment to operators. 8. Conducts, jointly with Instructors, quarterly or per-new-customer inspections of customer unloading facilities under the “Safe Site” methodology, which includes: inspecting access routes to the customer site, lighting, audiovisual silo-filling alarms at the customer’s facility, functioning dust collectors, unloading site condition (surface uniformity and ground conditions), and product-type signage for unloading—all aimed at reporting safety-related opportunities to Logistics and Commercial teams, and suspending deliveries if requirements are not met. 9. In case of traffic incidents/accidents, ensures first contact with the operator to gather root causes and, together with the Instructor and Base Manager, prepares the incident report and proposes preventive/corrective measures. 10. Calculates, analyzes, and reports route-level trip rates and operational expenses with the objective of optimizing them. 11. Ensures compliance with safety guidelines and implementation of CEMEX’s Consequence Management System. 12. Safety, Health, and Environment Responsibilities * Comply with safety, health and environmental policy, procedures established by the EHSMS. * Maintain applicable documented information related to the EHSMS up to date. * Participate in committees, training's, and awareness, to ensure proper competency of their position if applicable. * Be aware of and support compliance with applicable significant environmental aspects and associated significant environmental impacts. * Understand EHS risk and legal requirements relating to job responsibilities and appropriate requirements. * Execute job responsibilities with professional care and in compliance with legal requirements and internal standards without compromising the safety of self and others. * Be alert to EHS hazards in the workplace, responding to them as appropriate and communicating them to responsible management as soon as they are identified (e.g. spills). * Help drive continuous performance improvement in EHS areas, recommending potential improvements to responsible management. * Participate in identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing the necessary actions to achieve the intended results of their activities. **Requirements** * Verbal and written English, C1 level minimum a MUST * CQE (Certified Quality Engineer by ASQ) preferred * Experience in Cost Reduction projects a preferred * Black Belt certification preferred * Bachelor’s degree (Mechanical, Electronic, Industrial area or similar education) * Min. 3 years’ experience on Engineering areas * Strong Experience on handling of QMS (Quality management system) * Strong Experience on Quality Control Charts (histogram, pareto, process capability calculations, controls charts, etc) * Strong Experience on Quality Management Tools (brainstorms, flow diagrams, cause and effect diagrams, etc.) * Focus on continues improvement mindset * Training/Knowledge on FDA QSR's and GMP's, ISO 13485, J\-PAL/Ordinance No.169, EU and Canadian medical devices regulation, or similar regulations, preferred * Familiar with common computers software packages.
