**Job Description** **JOB DETAILS** **Daily wage: $513.33** **Monday to Friday schedule** **Rotating every two weeks: Day shift: 7:00 am to 7:00 pm \- Night shift: 7:00 pm to 7:00 am** **DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES** * Verify that full PPE is worn before entering the plant. * Attend daily safety meetings. * Check pending parts at the workbench, verifying quantity and part type. * Position parts on the workbench using a hoist or crane, depending on part size. * Regularly inspect the welding torch nozzle for cleanliness; clean it if contaminated with grease using needle-nose pliers to remove spatter and prevent clogging. * Weld remaining sections and flip parts using the crane or hoist to weld the opposite side. * Perform arc-air gouging on defective parts (e.g., porosity) on both sides using carbon arc and carbon rod; then clean the part with an air hammer and re-weld. * Polish defective areas (e.g., excess weld) using grinding tools and clean the part with an air hammer. * Manually replace welding wire spools when depleted. * Mark completed parts using stamp letters or the welder’s assigned code. * Place finished parts on one side of the racks using the hoist or crane. * Implement the 5S methodology in the work area \= Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain. * Substitute for crane operators to supply parts to welders and painters. * Participate in Kaizen events or continuous improvement initiatives. **Requirements** * Must be of legal age. * Completed junior high school education. * Experience with Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW). * Arc-air equipment operation. * Welding with 0.45 and 0.52 mm wire. * Shift availability. **Additional Information** **Address:** ROGELIO GONZALEZ CABALLERO 600, PARQUE INDUSTRIAL STIVA, 66626 CD APODACA,N.L.
