Position Summary: Strategic leader responsible for overseeing the technology infrastructure and directing the full software lifecycle—from conception to maintenance—ensuring scalability and flexibility. Design and maintenance of scalable technological architecture **PLATFORM AND APPLICATION DEVELOPMENT MANAGER** A strategic leader who not only oversees the technology infrastructure but also directs the full software lifecycle—from conception to maintenance. * Minimum 10 years of IT management experience, with demonstrable experience in SaaS platform development. **Knowledge Areas** Software development and agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban). * Microservice and container architectures (Docker, Kubernetes). Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). * Cybersecurity and data protection regulations (ISO 27001, GDPR). System integration and RESTful APIs. * Familiarity with parking technologies (IoT Hub, sensors, automated payment systems, third-party payment gateway APIs). **Key Responsibilities** * **Development Management**: Oversee the creation, testing, and deployment of web and mobile applications. * **Platform Strategy**: Design and maintain the technological architecture to ensure scalability and flexibility. * **Agile Team Leadership**: Lead developers, testers, and designers using methodologies such as **Agile** or **Scrum**. * **Quality Assurance (QA)**: Ensure platforms meet security, performance, and user experience (UX) standards. * **Infrastructure and Data Management**: Oversee servers (Cloud/On\-premise) and databases to reduce application latency. **Required Technical Competencies** * **Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)**: In-depth knowledge of continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) processes. * **Mobile and Web Technologies**: Familiarity with languages such as Python, Java, C\+\+ and application frameworks (Android/iOS). * **Cloud Computing**: Management of services such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud for platform hosting. * **Security and Risk Management**: Implementation of cybersecurity protocols to protect user data. **Education and Experience Requirements** * **Education**: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Information Systems; a Master’s degree (MBA or in IT) is often preferred. * **Experience**: At least **5 to 10 years** in the IT field, with progressive focus on leading development projects. * **Soft Skills**: Strong communication ability, vendor negotiation skills, and conflict resolution capability within highly skilled technical teams.
