DESCRIPTION At **GP Construcción**, we are leaders in the construction of infrastructure and industrial projects. We are seeking a **Pavement Superintendent** with at least 10 years of experience in the construction industry. We seek a professional with a strong background in road or bypass pavement works, proven experience in project control, and the ability to lead Construction Managers and Resident Engineers. **Key Responsibilities:** * Supervise and comprehensively manage pavement projects, ensuring compliance with technical specifications, schedules, and budgets. * Develop and implement project control plans, including schedules, resource allocation, and risk management. * Lead and motivate work teams composed of Construction Managers and Resident Engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment. * Guarantee the quality of materials and pavement construction work by applying best practices and current regulations. * Coordinate with other company departments and external entities to ensure proper project execution. * Conduct detailed monitoring of physical and financial project progress, reporting regularly to management. * Identify and propose solutions to technical and operational challenges arising during project execution. * Ensure compliance with safety, occupational health, and environmental regulations across all assigned projects. * Maintain clear and effective communication with all project stakeholders. Promote continuous improvement in pavement construction and management processes. * **Job Requirements:** * Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field. * Minimum 10 years of experience supervising and managing infrastructure projects, with specific focus on road or bypass pavements. * Solid knowledge of project control, planning methodologies, and risk management. * Proven experience leading construction teams (Construction Managers and Resident Engineers). * In-depth understanding of technical regulations and quality standards applicable to pavement projects. * Knowledge of pavement materials, construction processes, and quality control. * Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and negotiation skills. * Excellent oral and written communication skills. Willingness to travel and/or relocate as required by project needs. * **Preferred Skills** (Desirable): * Master’s degree in Highway Engineering or similar. * Advanced proficiency in project management software (MS Project, Primavera). * Experience in public works tenders and contracts.
