HOWMET ACUNA SHIPPING AND RECEIVING ASSISTANT

Internal candidate responsibilities Perform other tasks as directed by their immediate supervisor or Administrative Assistant Wrap (palletize) the pallets being shipped via TSO. In the case of UPS, the warehouse performs the wrapping. Deliver audited and wrapped pallets to the warehouse Create a list of mold numbers for 'Mold Sheets'. Organize received Mold Sheet containers in assigned area (cage) Organize received ITAR containers in assigned area (cage) Packaging staff are responsible for controlling the ITAR and Mold Sheet cage by recording entries and exits. Keep the work area clean and organized. Responsible for collecting all material released by the cells. Responsible for placing material into racks according to PEPS (first in, first out) Place received material that is in containment log or rework status on their respective HWC\-HWF containment tables. Update board with information on hours ready to ship. Responsible for entering serial numbers engraved on HLC castings into the packing list. Responsible for reporting to production leader if unrecorded operations are detected in the OHCMS system or incomplete routing sheet. In cases where process numbers located in inventory rack move to 'hold', it is their responsibility to transfer them from shelf to 'hold' cage. Ensure database and OHCMS system are updated promptly and entries are captured in the 'packing list' before moving to pallet. This ensures proper inventory control. In case of discrepancies between database reconciliation report and Inventory Report, assist Administrative Assistant in corrections 1\. Education: This position requires a minimum of secondary education. 2\. Skills and Abilities: Ability to interact with coworkers and supervisors Proactive attitude Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions Ability to maintain constant attention during critical steps of individual job requirements Computer proficiency Good judgment and ability to communicate effectively with all areas and departments.
