




* **Specific Responsibilities:** • He is responsible for the activities assigned in the absence of the Director of Operations. • The Quality Assurance Manager as a Quality Management representative, has the responsibility and authority to ensure that the processes necessary for the Quality Management System are established, implemented and maintained according to the applicable Standard (ISO 9001 / AS9100\.) * He is responsible of cost of bad quality generated by the facility * He is responsible to keep all costs of bad quality under budget. • In case the Quality Assurance Manager is absent, the Supervisor / Engineer of the same department will temporarily assume the responsibilities according to their corresponding area. • Ensures that the process and product specifications are met according to applicable internal, customer and government / external entity requirements. * He is responsible for coaching, managing and being part of the team to go through the right problem\-solving methodology against any quality issue from the plant * He is responsible to update all corrective actions from the plant and provide updates. • Coordinates and monitors customer responses (corrective actions, etc.). • Maintains and / or participates in meetings with clients, Engineers and Quality / Manufacturing personnel to coordinate the planning, programming and management of quality activities. • Ensures the preservation, analysis and review of product quality records. • Ensures that inspection and testing activities are carried out to support manufacturing procedures, as well as engineering. • Directs the activities of subordinates; recommends personnel for hiring, performs disciplinary actions, censuses and salary adjustments. * **Experience:** * 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar position * Experience in Quality Systems * Experience in industrial environment * **Education:** • Mechanical or Industrial Engineering * **Knowledge:** * Knowledge of applicable International Quality Standards. * Knowledge of computer packages (MS Office). * Knowledge of quality systems. * English * **Authority:** • You have the organizational freedom to resolve quality issues, as well as stop the manufacturing process if the product does not meet the internal requirements of the client and applicable government / external entities. • You have authority that concerns your area of responsibility. (Ex: Retention of non\-conforming material, discipline and administration of the personnel in charge.
