Responsibilities * Engineering program management: Define program architecture, establish schedules, milestones, and internal reviews, ensuring timely achievement of objectives. * Evaluation and planning of new projects: Assess launch complexity using the Difficulty Index, assign identifiers, and maintain updated program records. * Technological innovation: Analyze and recommend the incorporation of emerging technologies to improve manufacturing processes, automation, and operational efficiency. * Development of mechanized solutions: Design and implement automated or semi-automated systems that optimize production flow and reduce resource usage. * Capital and budget management: Lead the definition of investment requirements, develop business cases for capital approval, and manage expenditures according to the allocated budget. * Multifunctional coordination: Communicate and lead program activities with key departments such as Engineering, Procurement, Finance, Quality, Production, and Supply Chain. * Performance monitoring and risk mitigation: Establish flawless launch metrics (FLM) jointly with the Account Manager and PM Manager, track results, and lead recovery plans in case of deviations. * Team leadership: Direct and develop assigned program analysts, promoting collaborative work and professional development. * Regulatory and environmental compliance: * Comply with and ensure adherence to PKC Group’s Environment, Health, Safety and Energy Policy. * Comply with environmental, safety, health, and energy requirements stipulated in Federal, State, and Municipal legislation and applicable regulations related to our activities and products, fulfilling EMASS (Energy, Environment, Health and Safety) procedures inherent to the job position. * Contribute to the effectiveness of the Energy, Environment, Health and Safety Management System, including achieving EMASS Objectives and Targets. **Required Profile** **Education and Experience:** * Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering, or related field * 1 to 3 years of experience in manufacturing processes, automation, and mechanization. * 1 to 2 years of experience in electrical circuits and PLCs. **Required Skills and Knowledge:** * Basic accounting and finance concepts * Principles of project and program management * Understanding of quality control * Microsoft Office (Excel, PPT, Word, etc.) * Proficient in software and PLCs for new technologies * Advanced English * Technical skills: interpretation of electrical and pneumatic diagrams * Administrative skills: information management and handling customer and supplier requirements * Interpersonal skills: teamwork, working under pressure * Improvements on existing equipment * Innovation and Technology * Working under pressure on urgent requirements **Technical/Business Knowledge:** * Understanding of APQP * 5 phases, 8D, 5 Whys * Ability to read financial statements, create cash flow tables * Pareto principle, trial and error testing * Travel to plants at least 25% of working time * Analysis and recommendations for decision-making * Leading multifunctional teams for project/program development **Competencies** * Communication * Influence * Decision-making * Innovation * Work management * Stress tolerance **Benefits** * This is an active full-time position with competitive benefits and compensation. * Equal Opportunity Employer – Inclusive Company.
