Sr. Industrial Engineer - ASP

Acuña, Coahuila **Senior Industrial Engineer** Objective: Plan and coordinate complex manufacturing engineering activities focused on the efficient arrangement of equipment, process optimization, automation, mechanization, and continuous improvement. Lead technical projects, train teams, evaluate costs and timelines, and ensure compliance with quality, productivity, and safety standards. Responsibilities * Manufacturing technical management and documentation * Organize and deliver technical documentation such as layouts, BOMs, drawings, electrical programs, tooling, and inspection checklists. Validate component availability according to customer requirements. * Process optimization and problem resolution * Address and correct quality issues. Implement improvements in processes, materials, and costs. Update technical databases and coordinate with design to validate specifications. * Automation, mechanization, and continuous improvement * Introduce new manufacturing technologies, lead automation and mechanization projects, apply 5S principles, and execute corrective and preventive actions. Participate in the implementation of new packages and projects. * Coordinate laboratory of methods activities to validate standard times, line balancing, and ergonomic conditions. * Engineering changes and operational coordination * Execute internal engineering changes, review drawings and alerts, and ensure compliance with standards. Participate in technical meetings, request deviations, and coordinate tasks for technical personnel. * Technical leadership and team development * Assign responsibilities to the team, train junior engineers and new hires, and clearly communicate roles and authority. Stay updated on relevant technological developments. * Comply with and ensure compliance with PKC Group's Environment, Health, Safety and Energy Policy. * Comply with environmental, safety, health, and energy requirements established by Federal, State, and Municipal legislation and applicable regulations related to our activities and products, fulfilling the EMASS (Energy, Environment, Health, and Safety) procedures inherent to the job position. Contribute to the effectiveness of the Energy, Environment, Health and Safety Management System, including achieving EMASS Objectives and Targets * **Required Profile** **Education and Experience:** * Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering, or related field. * 1 to 3 years of experience in manufacturing processes, automation, and mechanization. 1 to 2 years of experience in electrical circuits and PLCs. * **Required Skills and Knowledge:** * Line balancing and/or workload distribution to production teams, preferably. * Improvements on existing equipment. * Innovation and Technology. * Work under pressure in urgent requirements. * Lean Manufacturing * Time and Motion Studies * Design of Manufacturing Cells * Intermediate to advanced English, preferably * Core Tools (APQP, PFMEA, PPAP) * Understand specific customer requirements * Equipment calculation * Physical plant layout * AutoCAD * Time studies Reduction of workforce * **Technical/Business Knowledge:** * Proficient in software and PLCs for new technologies. * Techniques, interpretation of electrical and pneumatic diagrams.
