Acuña, Coahuila **EHS Coordinator** Objective: Ensure the implementation and compliance of Energy, Environment, Health, and Safety Compliance Obligations. Ensure the implementation of the Energy Management, Environmental, Health, and Safety Management System programs by providing support to the strategic and tactical EHS leaders at the plant. Responsibilities * Comply with and enforce Corporate Environmental, Health, and Safety Policy and Energy Policy. * Identify environmental aspects and Safety and Health hazards and determine applicable operational controls. * Periodically review the effectiveness of established operational controls. * Provide training to emergency brigades, Safety and Health Committee, and employees involved in critical EHS programs. * Lead incident investigation teams. * Develop and test emergency procedures. * Ensure inspection of emergency equipment/devices. * Conduct monthly EHS inspections and Safety and Hygiene Committee verifications. * Follow up on identified Non-Conformities as well as findings from EHS inspections. * Determine Personal Protective Equipment according to job position. * Supervise and authorize high-risk work, including work performed by Contractors, Sub-Contractors, and Contracted Services. * Reinforce compliance with EHS Rules among employees. * Ensure compliance with activities specified in the EHS KanBan system. * Ensure compliance with assigned Environmental activities such as: filling hazardous waste logs and manifests, emissions analysis to air/water, conducting COA, etc.. * Provide technical support to the plant's Strategic and Tactical EHS Committee leaders to ensure proper implementation of EHS programs. * Comply with environmental, safety, health, and energy requirements stated in Federal, State, and Municipal legislation and applicable regulations related to our activities and products to meet EMASS (Energy, Environment, Health, and Safety) procedures inherent to the job position. * As well as those EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) requirements established by the community, our customers, and others to which we are subscribed.
