Position Summary: Responsible for coordinating designs, optimizing production methods, developing failure controls, supporting production, and leading continuous improvement projects. Key Highlights: 1. Leads and documents cost-saving and efficiency improvement projects. 2. Contributes to continuous improvement and proposes innovative ideas. 3. Promotes workplace safety, health, and environmental protection. * Responsible for requesting clarifications and resolving questions regarding layout and designs with internal and external customers. * Consults with Engineering and Design on product criteria related to tooling to ensure efficient production methods. * Develops failure control and prevention methods such as FMEA, control plans, and visual aids. * Provides production support for new number cell work, deviations, and/or temporary operations. * Leads, proposes, and documents cost-saving and/or efficiency improvement projects using the DI tool; structures, communicates, and presents the project to staff and/or immediate customers of these projects. * Contributes to continuous improvement by proposing and promoting improvement ideas in coordination with the ABS department. * Participates in A3 development and is responsible for tracking and closing pending departmental activities. * Responsible for fulfilling and ensuring compliance with Environmental, Health, and Safety responsibilities, as well as promoting ideas and suggestions (IFE’s) aimed at improving the Environmental, Health, and Safety management system. * Maintains high availability to fulfill additional assignments outside routine duties as required by the business unit. 1\. Education: * This position requires a professional degree in Mechatronics or Mechanical Engineering, preferably, or an equivalent technical degree and/or relevant experience. 2\. Skills and Competencies: * SolidWorks knowledge (Basic) * AutoCAD knowledge (Basic) * Microsoft Office Suite * Proficiency in computer use, verbal and written communication. * Intermediate Excel skills. * Interpretation of statistical data. * Teamwork and commitment to continuous improvement. * Positive attitude and initiative in performing job responsibilities. * Demonstrates leadership, positive attitude, and schedule flexibility. * English – 50% 3\.
