Join our KB Rail Mexico team in our next steps. **JOB DESCRIPTION:** **Job Summary:** The Production Technician supports production activities for conventional and CNC equipment, including tool changes, offset adjustments, and minor CNC program changes. **Essential Functions:** * Maintain machines running in production with quality parts according to drawing specifications. * Analyze, diagnose, and clear machine alarms. * Implement Pokayokes and continuous improvements to reduce waste. * Work safely using all personal protective equipment related to the type of job being performed. * Perform machining setup changes. * Support special projects or new product launches when required. * Carry out daily setup activities in the workshop. * Generate reports and keep the rest of the team informed. * Design and manage process support systems to maximize equipment uptime and availability (OEE). * Support KPS during TPM and Kaizen events. * Clean work area, tools, and equipment. * Has authority to stop production and/or shipment if product quality is compromised, in order to request necessary assistance to resolve the issue. * Ensure customer requirements are met. * Perform any other duties required by the nature of the position. **Management and Supervisory Responsibilities:** * This position is not responsible for supervising other employees. **Knowledge:** * Basic CNC programming, CNC and conventional machines, GD&T, measuring instruments and equipment, and Microsoft Office. * Knowledge of general repairs, preventive maintenance & TPM. * Knowledge of setup changes. * Knowledge of reading measurement reports (CMM). **Experience:** * 2 to 3 years of experience working with CNC and conventional machines (CNC Lathes and Machining Centers, conventional Drills, Lathes, Milling Machines, Grinders). * Proficient in using measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, roughness testers, Go-No-Go diameter gauges, electronic diameter measuring instruments, etc.). **Skills:** * Entrepreneurial, capable of working independently, highly motivated with a strong sense of urgency and creativity to achieve results quickly. * Ability to interact effectively with others as needed to resolve issues related to programming, design, quality, repairs, and setup. * Exceptional technical and mechanical skills, CNC programming, blueprint reading, design and fabrication of work fixtures. * Must have demonstrated ability in machine setup and changeovers. **Education/Certifications:** * Technical high school degree in electricity, mechanics, or related field. **What does KB Rail Mexico have to offer you?** * Work-life balance that includes Paid Vacation & Holiday Paid Time Off * Vacation Premium * Life insurance * Christmas Bonus * Educational assistance program * Wellness program * Saving Fund * Pantry Vouchers * Permits paid for: Marriage or Death of a direct relative * Attendance Bonuses * Cafeteria Subsidy * Subsidy for prescription glasses * Medical service in plant * Recognition programs
