




* Is responsible for requesting disposition and clarifying doubts regarding layout and designs with internal and external customers. * Consults with Engineering and Design on product criteria related to tooling to ensure efficient production methods. * Develops methods for failure control and prevention such as FMEA, control plans, and visual aids. * Provides support to production in new cell operations, deviations, and/or temporary operations. * Leads, proposes, and documents savings and/or efficiency projects using the DI tool, structures, communicates, and presents the project to the staff and/or immediate client of these projects. * Contributes to continuous improvement by proposing and promoting improvement ideas, establishing coordination with the ABS department. * Participates in the development of A3 reports, is responsible for tracking and closing pending departmental activities. * Is responsible for complying with and enforcing responsibilities related to Environment, Health, and Safety, as well as promoting ideas and suggestions (IFE’s) aimed at improving the Environment, Health, and Safety management system. * Maintains high availability to perform additional assignments outside routine responsibilities as required by the business unit. 1\. Education: This position requires a professional degree in Mechatronics/Mechanical Engineering, preferably, or a related technical field or equivalent experience. * 2\. Skills and Abilities: * Knowledge of Solid Works (Basic) * Knowledge of Auto CAD (Basic) * Microsoft Office Suite * Computer proficiency, verbal and written communication skills. * Intermediate Excel skills. * Interpretation of statistical data. * Teamwork and commitment to continuous improvement. * Positive attitude and initiative in performing job responsibilities. * Demonstrated leadership, positive attitude, and flexible availability. * English – 50% 3\.
