




Monthly net salary of $25,000 to $35,000 **Requirements:** * Bachelor’s degree in International Trade and Customs or related fields. * Minimum of 3 years of experience in the position. * Residence in Jalipa or Tapeixtles. **Job Responsibilities:** * Analyze technical descriptions, technical data sheets, catalogs, and merchandise documentation to determine the correct tariff classification. * Prepare detailed tariff classifications based on the General Import and Export Tax Tariff (TIGIE), Explanatory Notes of the Harmonized System, World Customs Organization (WCO) classification criteria, case law, and currently applicable miscellaneous resolutions. * Advise the operations team on interpreting tariff classifications and their impact on tax payments. * Review import/export customs declarations and documents to verify correct application of tariff classifications and rules of origin. * Continuously update knowledge regarding changes to the TIGIE, trade agreements, and applicable Mexican Official Standards (NOMs). * Support internal and external audits related to tariff classification. * Collaborate with the tax department in preparing applications for advance tariff classification rulings. **Competencies:** * Goods Tariff Classification * Knowledge of the Customs Law and General Rules of Foreign Trade * Annex 22, TIGIE / LIGIE, and complementary rules * Non-tariff regulations and restrictions (NTRRs) * Proficiency in tariff databases, the Single Window for Foreign Trade (VUCEM), and customs management systems * Tariff classification and correction of errors in customs declaration entry * Customer service orientation toward internal and external clients * Planning and organization * Teamwork Employment Type: Full-time Salary: $25,000.00 – $35,000.00 per month Benefits: * Option for an indefinite-term employment contract Work Location: On-site employment
