**Company dedicated to the manufacturing of electrical equipment seeks** **Technical Support Engineer for Substations** **Job Objective** * To provide specialized technical support during installation, commissioning, startup, diagnosis, and maintenance of disconnecting switches at substations, ensuring compliance with technical standards, customer satisfaction, and safe equipment operation. **Requirements** * Degree in Electromechanical, Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronic Engineering, or related field. * Minimum 1–3 years of field technical support experience. * Commissioning of electromechanical equipment (desirable). * Experience working in substations and high-voltage equipment (desirable). **We Offer** * Statutory benefits. * $12,500 gross monthly salary. * One-hour lunch break. **Specific Technical Knowledge** * Assembly, operation, and adjustment of disconnecting switches. (Training provided) * Reading mechanical, electrical, and control drawings and diagrams. * Standards: CFE, IEC, LAPEM requirements. * Electrical safety, PPE, risk analysis. * Adjustment of mechanisms: Motorized cabinets, linkages, limit stops, contacts, torque levels. * Preparation of technical reports and checklists. **Technical Skills** * Fault diagnosis. * Use of tools and measurement equipment. * Interpretation of drawings. * Execution of functional tests. **Soft Skills** * Clear communication with customers. * Ability to work under pressure and operate autonomously in the field. * Technical decision-making. * Critical thinking and safety-oriented mindset. * Proper documentation and reporting. **Job Responsibilities** * Supervise installation and assembly of disconnecting switches. * Adjust mechanisms and verify alignment, torque, and functionality. * Conduct mechanical and functional tests on-site. * Respond to failures and perform diagnostics. * Prepare service reports and technical recommendations. * Accompany inspection and technical audit visits. * Ensure safety and regulatory compliance. * Train customer personnel when required. **Location and Schedule** * Paseo de los Insurgentes, Laguna de los Patos * Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; Saturday, 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. **Start Date: January 5** Employment type: Full-time Salary: $12,500.00 per month Workplace: On-site
