Through our four business groups—DRiV, Performance Solutions, Clean Air, and Powertrain—Tenneco drives advancements in global mobility by delivering technology solutions to diverse global markets, including light vehicles, commercial trucks, off-highway vehicles, industrial applications, and the accessories market. **Are You Ready to Join a Global Automotive Organization and Advance Your Career?** We are hiring a **Continuous Improvement Engineer** based in **Puebla.** **Required Competencies** * Proficiency in Operational Excellence and Continuous Improvement methodologies * Proven hands-on experience implementing Lean tools such as SMED, MUDA-MURA-MURI Hunting, 5S, Hoshin Kanri, TPM, Total Quality Management (TQM), and other lean manufacturing initiatives for process optimization and waste reduction. * Methodologies for solving complex problems * In-depth knowledge and application of structured tools such as 8D, A3 Thinking, root cause analysis (Ishikawa, 5 Whys, Pareto Chart), and DMAIC methodology for process improvement. * Professional Lean Six Sigma certification: Minimum Green Belt certification (Black Belt preferred), with documented evidence of real-world project implementation delivering measurable financial impact. * End-to-end management of continuous improvement projects: Ability to plan, execute, and lead Six Sigma and Kaizen projects, coordinating cross-functional teams and ensuring on-time, on-spec, and high-quality delivery aligned with business strategic objectives. * Process analysis and Value Stream Mapping (VSM): Capability to conduct diagnostics, analysis, and implementation of improvements through creation and interpretation of value stream maps for both production and administrative processes. * Management of cost-saving and productivity initiatives: Experience identifying, executing, and tracking cost-reduction and efficiency-improvement projects, including financial validation and recording in savings pipeline systems. **What Will Make You Successful in This Role?** * Industrial Engineering degree or related field * Advanced English proficiency * 3 years of relevant experience in the automotive or auto parts industry, preferably in metalworking **What We Offer** We want you to feel welcomed, challenged, and inspired.
