Job Summary: Harbenit is seeking a Construction Safety Officer to ensure compliance with safety, hygiene, and occupational health regulations on structural steel and civil construction projects. Key Highlights: 1. Ensure compliance with safety, hygiene, and occupational health regulations. 2. Conduct daily inspections and provide industrial safety training to personnel. 3. At **Harbenit**, a company with extensive experience in **structural steel and civil construction**, we are seeking a **Construction Safety Officer** to guarantee compliance with **safety, hygiene, and occupational health regulations** across our projects. **WILLINGNESS TO TRAVEL OUTSIDE THE STATE OF PUEBLA REQUIRED.** **Competencies** * Leadership and authority to enforce regulations. * Effective communication and ability to train personnel. * Observational skills and attention to detail. * Proactivity and decision-making under pressure. * Organizational skills and ability to work onsite. **Requirements** * **Education:** Technical degree in Industrial Safety, Industrial Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field (preferred). * **Experience:** Minimum 2 years in **civil construction, structural steel, or construction safety**. (**Mandatory**) * Knowledge of **STPS NOMs**, risk analysis, and safety plans. * Proficiency in preparing reports, logs, and collecting photographic evidence. * Availability to work onsite in Tlaxcala. * **Preferred:** Certifications in industrial safety, first aid, or working at heights. **Responsibilities** * Verify compliance with **safety and hygiene regulations** at the construction site. * Conduct **daily inspections** of work areas, machinery, and tools. * Identify, report, and follow up on **unsafe conditions and acts**. * Train and raise awareness among personnel regarding **industrial safety and proper use of PPE**. * Prepare and maintain up-to-date **safety documentation** (logs, incident reports, work permits, etc.). * Coordinate response to **emergencies, accidents, or incidents**. * Ensure compliance with applicable **official regulations (STPS, NOMs)** for civil construction and structural steel. * Knowledge of and response to **MEDICAL EMERGENCIES** (Paramedic certification preferred) If you possess the required skills, do not hesitate to apply.
