




Troubleshoot, diagnose, and rectify mechanical and electrical faults. Repair, service, and maintain equipment (forklifts) to ensure optimal operational condition. Test and inspect forklift components—including electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and steering systems. Perform routine preventive maintenance on equipment according to schedules based on operating hours. Install and calibrate forklift equipment. Request spare parts and materials required for equipment repair and/or fault correction. Check fluid levels—including engine oil, coolant, fuel, and battery water. Replace oil and fuel filters as required. Inspect the engine, cooling system, and ignition system of forklifts. Examine brakes, emergency brake, tires, and steering system. Inspect engine hoses to verify absence of leaks (oil, water, fuel, and LP gas). Inspect belts, bearings, and engine pulleys to confirm they are in good condition and operating normally. Check battery charge level and physical condition, ensuring voltage is at 12.5 V. Inspect electrical connections, wiring, and fuses on the equipment under review. Diagnose and repair engines—including adjustments, fault diagnosis, and replacement of timing belts and chains. Install new or modified parts and accessories for forklifts. Complete service reports and other documentation. Advise operators on proper forklift usage.
