Reading and interpretation of engineering drawings A metalworking company in the metallurgical industry is seeking an experienced CNC Lathe Operator with proven experience in metalworking manufacturing, responsible for preparing, operating, and verifying the proper functioning of CNC lathes to produce high-precision parts according to engineering drawings and customer specifications. Requirements: Technical degree in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field. Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on experience operating CNC lathes. Availability to work Monday through Friday, from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Experience: · \- Setup and adjustment of CNC lathes. · \- Use of measuring instruments (micrometer, vernier caliper, calipers, etc.). · \- Reading and interpretation of engineering drawings. · \- On-machine programming (G-codes and M-codes). · \- Alignment, zero-setting, and machining setup. · \- Selection and use of cutting tools. Main Responsibilities: · Prepare the lathe according to assigned working conditions. · Execute CNC programs while ensuring dimensional accuracy. · Verify equipment and tool functionality. · Monitor measurements of manufactured parts. · Comply with established quality and safety standards.
