Job Summary: Responsible for safely and efficiently transporting assemblies and dollies, inspecting vehicles and routes, and ensuring compliance with transfer and return procedures. Key Highlights: 1. Safe and efficient transportation of assemblies 2. Vehicle inspection and maintenance 3. Knowledge of routes and transfer procedures Efficiently and safely transport assemblies to VWM via vans, tow cars, and dollies. Vehicle inspection according to functional checklist points. Verify and ensure proper placement of: bolts, safety pins, door pins, and rods. Ensure transportation of assemblies from T&W facilities to VWM Plant. Inspect/ensure empty dollies are transported "NO VWM PRODUCTION MATERIAL ALLOWED"; must be approved with signatures from H. Warranty and Driver. "SHARED RESPONSIBILITY: In case of returning assemblies to T&W Plant, supervisor accompaniment is required to ensure exit from VWM; upon arrival at T&W Plant, a complete stop must be made at the entrance and Security must be notified to verify assembly return. Knowledge of VWM facilities, entry and exit routes, alternate and/or emergency routes. Cleaning, Preservation and Maintenance of the Transport Unit.
