Job Summary: Prepare surfaces, operate MIG/MAG and covered electrode welding equipment, select filler materials and adjust welding parameters, perform welds in different positions, and inspect and correct defects. Inspection and correction of welding defects **Main Responsibilities:** * Prepare surfaces (cleaning, grinding, alignment, and clamping of parts). * Operate micro-wire welding equipment (MIG/MAG) and covered electrode welding equipment. * Select filler materials (wire and electrodes) according to job requirements. * Adjust welding parameters (voltage, amperage, wire feed speed). * Perform welds in different positions (flat, horizontal, vertical, and overhead). * Perform basic cutting using oxy-fuel cutting equipment or electric tools. * Visually inspect weld beads and correct defects. * Finish parts (grinding, cleaning). * Comply with safety regulations, use of PPE, and internal procedures. * Maintain tools and equipment in good condition.
