Job Summary: Manages workflow in the service workshop by assigning tasks, supervising vehicle quality, and maximizing productivity. Key Highlights: 1. Manages workflow and productivity in the automotive workshop. 2. Performs quality control and vehicle road tests. 3. Coordinates communication between service advisors and technicians. IMPORTANT: AUTOMOTIVE GROUP IS SEEKING A WORKSHOP CONTROLLER Job Objective: Manages workflow in the service workshop by assigning tasks to technicians and supervising final vehicle quality before delivery to the customer. Maximizes productivity, ensures on-time delivery, and identifies defects through road testing and visual inspection. Requirements: • Education: Preferably Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration, or related field. • 1 year of experience in administrative roles or similar workshop positions. Main Responsibilities: • Task Assignment: Distributes work among mechanical technicians based on their skills and certifications. • Quality Control: Conducts visual inspections and road tests on vehicles to ensure repairs are completed correctly the first time. • Workshop Management: Updates the workshop logbook and monitors service orders in the system. • Communication: Acts as a liaison between service advisors and technicians, reporting noises, findings, or delays.
