**Main Responsibilities:** * Verify the entry and exit of workers (metal detector screening). * When external individuals enter the facility, register visitors, inspect backpacks and bags, and screen every person granted access with a metal detector. * Restrict entry to unauthorized individuals without prior identification; for suppliers requiring loading, unloading, or performing high-risk tasks, ensure they use appropriate safety equipment required for such activities. * Prevent entry of weapons or devices that endanger personnel or facility security. * Patrol facilities during scheduled shifts. * Verify that locks are properly applied and the facility is securely closed. * Detect anomalies such as unusual noises, lights left on, objects out of place, etc. * Monitor that unnecessary lights and equipment are turned off. * Confirm that workers wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for their tasks. * Safeguard the facility’s movable and immovable assets. * Collaborate with the area supervisor and Human Resources to ensure compliance with the Internal Work Regulations within the facility. * Monitor security cameras (CCTV), alarms, and sensors. * Report any suspicious activity. * Operate communication systems (radios, intercoms, telephones). * Prevent theft, vandalism, or unauthorized intrusions. * Intervene in conflicts following established security protocols. * Coordinate evacuations during emergencies (e.g., fires, earthquakes). * Administer first aid when necessary. * Inspect facilities to identify suspicious activity and minimize asset theft, robbery, and/or attacks on company material resources. * Prepare daily surveillance logs and follow up on reported incidents jointly with Human Resources.
