The candidate will be responsible for the following activities: 1\. Data Processing and Automation \- Monitor the daily operation of Airflow pipelines that extract, transform, and load data into Redshift or other databases. \- Detect failures in scraping or insertion processes, validate the root cause (e.g., new structure, blocking, empty data), and define appropriate solutions. \- Implement temporary or permanent solutions for recurring errors in portals, automations, or structural changes in source data. 2\. Integrity, Validation, and Monitoring \- Review consistency and integrity of received data by comparing against historical data, expected KPIs, and client-specific validation rules. \- Design and maintain automated checks that alert on data anomalies (e.g., missing records, date inconsistencies, etc.). \- Monitor the overall status of critical processes using logs, customized alerts, and control queries. 3\. Data Modeling: \- Design robust and scalable data schemas capable of supporting large volumes of information, considering partitioning, primary and foreign keys, indexes, and query optimization. \- Apply normalization and denormalization techniques, evaluating the balance among integrity, performance, and flexibility in data models. \- Implement best practices for naming conventions, schema versioning, and controlled migration procedures to avoid inconsistencies in production environments. 4\. Documentation and Continuous Improvement \- Document technical processes, validation criteria, data structures, and business rules. \- Propose improvements to existing processes, especially to increase efficiency or reduce operational errors. \- Participate in defining development standards and best practices within the team. 5\. Availability and Attitude \- Act autonomously, with sound technical judgment and results orientation, without requiring constant supervision.
