**Education:** IIA (Food Industry Engineer), Bachelor’s degree in Food Science and/or related fields. **Marital Status:** Not specified **Experience:** * 3 to 5 years of experience in the tortilla and baked goods industry (toasted tortillas and corn chips) * Experience in: * Prerequisite programs * HACCP * Audits and implementation of management systems: FSSC, BRC and/or SQF * Document control * Office software * Statistical process control * Laboratory analysis and sampling techniques * Handling and interpretation of food legislation, including NMX and NOM standards, among others. Teamwork and working under pressure, follow-up. **Responsibilities and/or Functions:** **Lead the quality department, ensuring compliance with standards and the management system, driving, promoting, and guaranteeing a culture of continuous improvement and food safety.** * Administer and maintain certification of the quality management system * Manage documentation for the quality management system * Develop and monitor departmental performance indicators (KPIs) * Supervise and coordinate quality department activities * Ensure compliance with established quality procedures and policies * Lead internal and external audits * Manage control of raw materials, in-process products, and finished products * Follow up on non-conformities and complaints, as well as implementation of corrective and preventive actions * Train personnel Implement and continuously improve quality processes **Working Hours** Monday to Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Saturday: 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM Sunday: Day off Employment Type: Full-time Salary: $20,000.00 – $28,000.00 per month Benefits: * Educational support * Option for indefinite-term contract * Cafeteria service * Free uniforms Workplace: On-site employment
