The Human Resources department works to attract, retain, develop, and engage talent across WRI’s global network, leveraging expertise in human behavior, data science, business management, and socioemotional well-being—all aligned with WRI’s mission and values. **POSITION OBJECTIVE:** Coordinate and ensure the full candidate experience—from attraction through hiring—and guide new hires through the onboarding process while ensuring job-specific training programs are implemented. **KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:** * **Staff and Intern Recruitment:** Responsible for managing the recruitment and selection process in Workday (including oversight, review, and updating of job descriptions; posting vacancies on the WRI website). * **Staff Selection:** Screen resumes aligned with position requirements; contact candidates; track and respond to applications; coordinate individual and panel interviews; align interview schedules; develop interview guides/evaluation templates; and support decision-making via Workday. * **Staff Hiring:** Generate offer letters; conduct professional and academic reference checks; confirm employment terms; manage all aspects related to employment contracts; track staff contracts and amendments. * **Staff Onboarding and Training:** Ensure new staff receive both organizational and role-specific training and orientation. Coordinate with IT and Payroll teams to provide all required equipment and work tools. Periodically update onboarding program content and the Employee Handbook. * Talent Management: Monitor development plans aligned with project needs and performance improvement plans. Support identification of key talent and capacity-building requirements. * **Organizational Culture and Workplace Climate:** Promote activities reinforcing organizational culture grounded in institutional values, and advance well-being initiatives. Support workplace climate surveys and follow-up on improvement actions. * **Administrative Support for the Department:** Assist in preparing basic HR reports and metrics (e.g., open positions, time-to-fill, training participation, etc.).
