**AT GRUPO MOTIVA, WE ARE CURRENTLY SEEKING:** **OPTOMETRY TECHNICIAN OR RELATED PROFESSIONAL – FOR THE ÁLVARO OBREGÓN MUNICIPALITY PROJECT** **Area:** Obregonense Community Project **Location:** Mobile Units and Community Care Centers **Job Requirements** **Academic Qualifications (Mandatory)** · **Bachelor’s Degree in Optometry (Degree Certificate and Professional License)** · **Optometry Technician Certification** * Prior experience in optometric care (minimum 6 months). * Preferably in community programs or social services (not mandatory). **Main Responsibilities** * Conduct professional assessment of visual impairment level (Optometry) up to six (6) diopters. * Perform the full visual examination procedure. * Conduct retinoscopy to determine required lens prescription. * Issue final prescription for beneficiaries. * Support **special outreach campaigns**, community activities, or temporary reassignment to other Community Care Centers (CABs) and/or Mobile Units as needed. * Advise beneficiaries on detected visual problems and, if necessary, recommend lens use. * Accurately record results in the designated form or system. * Provide courteous, professional, and respectful treatment at all times. **Key Responsibilities and Activities** * Adhere to the Obregonense Project’s care protocols. * Ensure correct application of optometric procedures. * Submit reports and records timely and accurately. * Maintain order and cleanliness in the care area. * Safeguard beneficiaries’ well-being and integrity. **Work Tools** * Phoropter / Lensmeter (subject to unit availability). * Visual acuity charts and visual evaluation materials. * Handheld lamp or magnifying glass (if applicable). * Registration forms, logs, and internal documentation templates. * Worktable and basic clinic equipment. * Personal protective equipment and biosafety supplies. **Competencies** * Friendly, service-oriented demeanor. * Patience and sensitivity toward vulnerable populations. * Clear communication skills. * Responsibility and organizational skills. * Teamwork capability. * Adaptability (especially during rotations or outreach shifts). **WE OFFER:** SALARY: Contracted through Consultura Rotten S.A. de C.V., $14,000.00 gross monthly, mixed compensation scheme; statutory benefits aligned with minimum wage regulations. **WORK HOURS:** Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; Saturdays, 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. **IF YOU MEET THE PROFILE AND AGREE TO WORK ON PROJECTS REQUIRING MOBILITY WITHIN THE ÁLVARO OBREGÓN DISTRICT, PLEASE SEND YOUR CV VIA WHATSAPP TO 5533 6617 69 OR APPLY THROUGH THIS PLATFORM.** Employment Type: Full-time, Indefinite-term contract Salary: $12,000.00 – $12,500.00 per month Workplace: On-site employment
