EDUCATION: Professional Technician in Radiology AREAS OF EXPERIENCE: General Imaging YEARS OF EXPERIENCE: 1 year DESIRABLE KNOWLEDGE: Plain X-ray, Plain and Contrast CT, Mammography, Dental, Barium Enema, Hysterosalpingography, Excretory Urography, Voiding Cystourethrogram, Upper GI Series. PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS, SKILLS AND/OR PERSONAL COMPETENCIES: Communication, discretion, composure, creativity, teamwork, responsibility, commitment. TECHNICAL SKILLS AND/OR COMPETENCIES: Use of the various modalities available in an imaging department (X-ray, CT, Mammography, Dental, and Special Studies). MAIN FUNCTIONS AND ACTIVITIES * Reviewing orders and delivering them to reception * Providing comprehensive patient care * Performing imaging studies * Cleaning equipment * Correctly entering patient demographic data on each radiograph * Providing instructions regarding attire and explaining the procedure for performing the study * Collaborating with the radiologist in acquiring special studies * Digitizing radiographic images from performed studies Schedule: 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Monday to Friday 7:00 am to 2:00 pm, Saturdays Position Type: Full-time Salary: $10,000.00 - $11,000.00 per month Benefits: * Employee discount * Company parking * Option for indefinite-term contract Work Location: On-site employment
