Job Responsibilities\*\* * Lead the entire product development lifecycle for mechanical components and systems, from conceptualization and design to prototyping, testing, and production launch. * Conduct advanced mechanical analysis, including stress, thermal, vibration, and fluid dynamics using simulation software (e.g., FEA, CFD). * Develop and review detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and bill of materials (BOMs) ensuring adherence to industry standards and internal quality requirements. * Collaborate cross\-functionally with electrical engineers, industrial designers, manufacturing teams, and supply chain partners to integrate mechanical designs seamlessly. * Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior mechanical engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation. * Identify, evaluate, and implement new technologies, materials, and manufacturing processes to enhance product performance, reliability, and cost\-effectiveness. * Troubleshoot and resolve complex mechanical issues arising during design, production, and field operations. * Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively, ensuring on\-time and within\-budget delivery of mechanical engineering deliverables. * Participate in design reviews, risk assessments, and failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA) to ensure robust and reliable designs. * Ensure all designs comply with relevant safety standards, environmental regulations, and company policies. Job Qualifications\*\* * Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution. * 10\+ years of progressive experience in mechanical design and product development, preferably within a manufacturing or electronics assembly environment. * Proven track record of leading complex mechanical engineering projects from conception to production. * Expert proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Creo, AutoCAD) and advanced FEA/CFD simulation tools. * Strong understanding of various manufacturing processes (e.g., injection molding, sheet metal fabrication, machining, additive manufacturing). * In\-depth knowledge of materials science, including plastics, metals, and composites. * Excellent problem\-solving skills with a strong analytical and data\-driven approach. * Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and motivate a team of engineers. * Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills. * Fluency in English and Spanish is highly desirable.
