We are looking for a highly skilled **SAP Basis Administrator** to support and maintain our enterprise SAP environments. This role is responsible for keeping systems stable, secure, and optimized while coordinating upgrades, technical changes, and performance improvements. You will work closely with infrastructure, development, and application teams to ensure our SAP landscape aligns with business needs and technology standards. **Key Responsibilities** * Oversee daily operations of SAP systems, ensuring uptime, reliability, and strong performance. * Perform system installations, patches, upgrades, system copies, and environment refreshes. * Monitor background jobs, workloads, queues, and overall system health. * Troubleshoot issues involving application servers, connectors, integrations, and SAP components. * Support performance tuning activities across SAP, databases, and operating systems. * Implement automations and efficiency improvements using tools such as scripts or Ansible. * Maintain accurate technical documentation, procedures, and operational guidelines. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure and compliant technical solutions. * Participate in testing cycles, environment maintenance, backup tasks, and disaster recovery exercises. **Required Qualifications** * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent experience. * **8–10 years of total IT experience**, including **5+ years dedicated to SAP Basis administration**. * Strong experience with **SAP HANA** and **Microsoft SQL Server** databases. * Hands-on experience with **SAP ECC** and working knowledge of **SAP S/4HANA** environments. * Proficiency with **Windows Server** or **Red Hat Enterprise Linux** system administration. * Advanced troubleshooting skills across application, database, and server layers. * Experience automating operational tasks (e.g., scripting, Ansible, or similar tools). * Advanced English communication skills (written and spoken). **Preferred Experience** * Background supporting ECM platforms such as Hyland OnBase or systems integrated via ArchiveLink. * Experience administering SharePoint or other enterprise collaboration tools. * Understanding of SaaS platforms and third-party integrations with SAP. **Additional Information** * Travel requirement: up to 10% occasionally. * Opportunity to contribute to large-scale SAP modernization and enterprise technology initiatives. * Role reports to the IT Infrastructure or Enterprise Applications team.
