




**What Process Engineering Brings to Cardinal Health** Engineering is responsible for conducting research and analysis to develop design options for components, products, systems, and processes. Process Engineering is responsible for analyzing and evaluating supplier and internal processes to determine their capability. It identifies and drives process improvements. Supports supplier evaluation and selection. Leads external resources/contractors as needed. **Qualifications** * 4 to 8 years of experience (preferred) * Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience (preferred) * Advanced English * Lean Manufacturing preferred * PMP **Expectations for This Level** * Applies broad knowledge and deep understanding of concepts, principles, and technical capabilities to perform diverse tasks and projects * Can contribute to the development of policies and procedures * Works on complex and large-scale projects * Develops technical solutions for a wide range of difficult problems * Solutions are innovative and aligned with organizational objectives * Performs work independently; receives general guidance on new projects * Work is reviewed toward goal achievement * May act as a mentor to colleagues with less experience **Specific Functions and Responsibilities** * Embraces performance, effectiveness, adaptability, quality, and continuous improvement goals for products and services throughout their lifecycle in production and commercialization. * Administers, plans, implements, and designs production and service systems to ensure performance, compliance, and maintenance, as well as execution and scheduling of adherence and cost control for the company. * Ensures standardization in lean manufacturing and process operations through compliance with local and global directives. * Responsible for tracking goals and procedures assigned to this position. * Implements systems and tools for continuous improvement. * Responsible for administration and execution of capital projects (CARs). * Responsible for implementation of CAPAs under the quality management system. * Implement Kaizen projects. * Responsible for site process validations. * Responsible for process optimization through line balancing. * Cost optimization through reduction of consumables or adoption of new technologies. * Develop IQ, OQ, and PQ validations. * Compliance with Quality policies * Fulfill legal responsibility under national or federal regulations such as taking reasonable Care regarding one's own safety, health, and well-being, and that of others who may be affected by one's acts or omissions at work. * Follow established EHS procedures and policies * Encourage coworkers to follow EHS procedures * Participate in employee engagement activities, for example, EHS inspections and EHS meetings * Report EHS hazards and incidents, collaborate in root cause analysis when applicable, and collaborate to find solutions or implement improvements * Complete mandatory EHS training *Candidates who are back\-to\-work, people with disabilities, without a college degree, and Veterans are encouraged to apply.* *Cardinal Health supports an inclusive workplace that values diversity of thought, experience and background.
