




The Principal SME Engineer is responsible for driving excellence across product families within our manufacturing operations. The role requires a knowledgeable subject matter expert in manufacturing engineering and Energy products and processes, with a strong focus on optimizing product family processes and ensuring consistency, quality, and innovation. KEY SUCCESS FACTORS + Develop, implement and audit for best practices and guidelines in processes and products. + Operations excellence of product families and associated process performance to world class industry standards. + Drive the development of process excellence for new product introductions. + Reduction in customer complaints. + Reduction in manufacturing costs through process optimization. + Achieving reliable and robust processes through technology enhancements. + Manufacturing Process intellectual property developments. + Integration of leading innovations for process technologies. + Delivering training for product and process to enable a learning organization growth culture. **What your background should look like** REQUIREMENTS * Extensive experience in manufacturing engineering, with a focus on product family processes. * Proven track record of leading and implementing process improvement initiatives. * Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies. * Excellent leadership, organizational, and project management skills. * Strong problem\-solving and analytical skills. * Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. * Experience with ERP systems and their role in manufacturing operations. * Familiarity with statistical process control (SPC) and failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA). * Knowledge of Industry 4\.0 standards and practices. Education * Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. * Advanced degree (Master’s or PhD) in a relevant field.
