Leads continuous improvement and management of special waste Due to expansion, a prominent environmental company is seeking: **Operations Coordinator** **Position Objective:** To properly manage daily personnel and procedures for receiving, sorting, and shipping recyclable materials, ensuring operational efficiency, compliance with environmental, industrial, and asset safety regulations, equipment maintenance, quality standards, and inventory optimization. **Requirements:** * Environmental, Industrial, or related Engineering degree * Applied knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 standard\. * Knowledge of CTPAT. * Performance indicator management skills. * Familiarity with continuous improvement processes. * Knowledge of Special Handling Waste regulations (SEDUE / SEMARNAT) (Desirable). **Responsibilities:** * Development and implementation of procedures (quality and safety) inherent to the operations area. * Inputting performance indicators. * Training personnel on proper segregation techniques and equipment operation (forklifts, compactors, etc.). * Ensuring personnel correctly use PPE and comply with safety protocols. * Supervising segregation to ensure materials are classified according to valorization standards to maximize circular economy returns. * Ensuring all inbound and outbound records, as well as physical material inventories, are accurately maintained. * Supervising material weighing and loading onto transport vehicles, ensuring no safety contamination occurs during shipments (prevention of illicit activities). * Coordinating workflow across receiving, segregation, compaction, storage, and dispatch areas. * Monitoring daily processed volumes. * Conducting weekly perimeter security, lighting, and access control inspections per the CTPAT program. * Maintaining workplace order and cleanliness (5S). * Managing preventive maintenance of machinery (compactors, shredders, forklifts, etc.).
