




**Job Summary.** The Quality Supervisor is responsible for monitoring compliance with food safety and quality requirements, procedures, forms, regulatory requirements, laboratory test follow-up, non-conforming product follow-up, holds, as well as the implementation and monitoring of SQF, pre\-requisites, HACCP plans, and corrective actions. The Quality Supervisor participates in handling customer complaints and product recall exercises. **Essential Functions and Responsibilities** * Coordinate activities for maintaining the quality system * Provide support to quality technicians in their respective duties * Review that technicians follow policies and procedures * Assist in the quality system as directed by the immediate supervisor * Supervise and manage direct reports * Know the company's evacuation routes * Report any unsafe conditions related to equipment, buildings, and work tools to prevent potential accidents * Comply with and enforce the standards set by the food safety and quality management system * Properly carry out activities related to finished product safety and quality **Hard Skills** * Analytical * Proficient in Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) * Knowledge of statistical SPC * Problem-solving methodology * SQF Code (Quality and food safety) * HACCP * Regulatory requirements * FDA requirements * Product recalls **Education and Requirements** * Degree in Chemical or Food Engineering preferred * 3 years of experience in food-related areas * Knowledge of HACCP, SQF, food safety, Kosher certification, and FDA requirements * Ability to develop, interpret, and apply specifications and analyze SPC statistical data * Excellent leadership and team-building skills * 80% proficiency in English Job type: Full-time Work Location: On-site
