As the Lead R&O Maintenance Technician at Honeywell, you will oversee and manage the maintenance of our physical facilities, ensuring a safe and productive work environment, while enhancing employee satisfaction and productivity. You will report directly to our Facilities Manager and work at our Chihuahua site, with an on-site work schedule. Maintain proper operation of automatic machines/equipment, follow maintenance plans, and participate in continuous improvements * Keep equipment and/or automatic machines operational. * Understand and diagnose faults in 3-axis and 6-axis robots, vision systems, and PLCs. * Maintain downtime at minimal levels. * Seek new alternatives to make automatic equipment more efficient. * Generate reports and analyze failures. * Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on automatic machines. * Work collaboratively with team members and other departments. * It is everyone's responsibility to comply with the procedures established in our Quality System to ensure compliance and maintain our ISO9001:2015 certification. * Comply with the Internal Work Regulations and Safety Rules. * Proper use of required PPE. * Complete the safety training courses designated for the position. * Know and comply with cardinal rules. * Provide support and participate in HSE activities. * Meet requirements and implement improvements in safety aspects. * Ensure appropriate working conditions and environment within your area of responsibility or department. * Analyze tasks performed in your area to identify potential risks and take action to minimize or reduce them. * Participate in investigations of workplace accidents occurring in your respective department. * Fulfill and enforce established SHE objectives, monitoring adherence to safety and health practices by personnel under your supervision. * Ensure compliance with metrics, objectives, and expectations in your area related to Safety. * Participate in daily follow-up meetings conducted at various levels within the production area as part of HOS, responding promptly and effectively to problem resolution within your responsibility or function. **Education and Experience** * Technical degree or higher education in Mechatronics and/or Electromechanics * 4 \- 6 years of verifiable experience in a similar role * Knowledge of Automatic and Semi-Automatic Equipment * Scara and 6-Axis Robots (Omron, Toshiba, Epson, Fanuc) * Sensors and vision systems (Keyence, Omron, Epson, Cognex) * Electrical control * PLC Programming (Allen Bradley, SMC, Omron) (Intermediate level) * Mechanical and pneumatic systems * Communication protocols (Ethernet, Profinet, EtherCat, etc.) * Robotic cylinders * Servo motors and indexers * Conveyors (Bosch) * Proficiency in Microsoft Office * Programming and adjustment of vision systems * Programming and adjustment of robots * Use of electrical and mechanical tools LOTO procedure application * \#LI\-Onsite Honeywell helps organizations solve the world's most complex challenges in automation, the future of aviation and energy transition.
