The contractor will be responsible for configuring, maintaining, and optimizing our Avaya communication systems to ensure reliable and efficient operations across the organization. This role is project\-based and requires a hands\-on professional who can deliver high\-quality results with minimal supervision. **Key Responsibilities** * Configure and program Avaya phone systems, including extensions, call routing, voicemail, hunt groups, and auto\-attendants. * Manage system upgrades, patches, and updates to ensure security and functionality. * Perform troubleshooting and resolve issues related to Avaya voice systems, hardware, and integrations. * Collaborate with internal IT staff to assess business requirements and implement system enhancements. * Provide user support and training for Avaya system functionality as needed. * Document system configurations, changes, and troubleshooting procedures. * Ensure compliance with company IT standards, security policies, and industry best practices. **Qualifications** * Proven experience configuring and managing **Avaya phone systems** (Avaya Aura, Avaya IP Office, or related platforms). * Strong knowledge of VoIP technologies, SIP protocols, and telephony systems. * Familiarity with call center features, reporting tools, and system integrations. * Ability to troubleshoot both hardware and software issues. * Excellent problem\-solving skills and attention to detail. * Strong communication and documentation abilities. * **Relevant certifications (e.g., Avaya Certified Implementation Specialist (ACIS) or Avaya Certified Support Specialist (ACSS)) are a plus, but not required.** **Contract Details** * **Compensation:** Open for negotiation. * **Schedule:** Flexible, based on project needs. * **Reporting To:** CEO/COO Job Type: Contract Pay: From $50\.00 per hour Work Location: Remote
