For more information visit: www.irco.com. **Position Objective:** Manage and lead Process Engineering, Industrial Engineering, and Maintenance departments focused on continuous improvement and production support to achieve metrics and resource optimization while ensuring product quality and employee safety. Manage the introduction of new products/processes into manufacturing areas through the development of an execution plan covering all project phases, including financial aspects, progress, and project status. **Responsibilities:** * + Provide vision and leadership for the team under supervision + Resource management and objective assignment for the engineering department + Implementation, administration, and maintenance of the Lean Manufacturing system + Development and documentation of production processes, as well as all required documentation; * + - PFMEA - Work Instructions - Visual Aids - Process Flowcharts - VSM * + Administration and definition of the Visual Factory + Lead continuous improvement projects + Approval and validation of samples and pilot runs + Transfer and/or launch of new products; as well as introduction of new processes + Knowledge of Process Validation through IQ, OQ, PQ, DOE, TMV, etc. + Establish equipment installed capacity + Responsible for equipment and facility maintenance in optimal condition + Manage capital projects and ensure proper use of resources + Ensure metrics remain within target, such as: * + - OEE - Waste - Capital projects * + Support departments in the following metrics: * Efficiency * Safety * Customer complaints * + Maintain control of the following systems: * + - Kaizen continuous improvement - CAPEX projects - Productivity * + Support departments in the following metrics: * + - Efficiency - Safety - Customer complaints * + Maintain control of the following systems: * + - Kaizen continuous improvement - CAPEX projects - Productivity **Requirements:** * Industrial Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, or equivalent to the activities. * 5 years of experience in a similar position * Microsoft Office * AutoCAD/SolidWorks * Microsoft Project * Knowledge of Minitab * Bilingual English/Spanish * Knowledge of “Good Manufacturing Practices” and “Clean Rooms” preferred * Knowledge of ISO 9001
