Position Summary: Ensure compliance with Safety, Health, and Environmental (SHE) standards by supervising industrial, asset, and environmental safety. Key Highlights: 1. Responsible for asset, industrial, and environmental safety 2. Coordinates emergency response teams, drills, and emergency plans 3. Ensures compliance with Mexican Official Standards and corporate standards Position Purpose: Ensure compliance with Safety, Health, and Environmental (SHE) standards within the company through implementation, supervision, and continuous improvement of EHS programs. Ensure operations are conducted under safe conditions, prevent accidents, reduce risks, and foster a safety culture at all organizational levels. Key Responsibilities: * Responsible for asset safety, industrial safety, and environmental management * Coordinates the Joint Safety and Hygiene Committee * Coordinates all company emergency response teams * Conducts PPE and ergonomics assessments * Coordinates emergency drills and emergency plans Regulatory Compliance: * Ensures compliance with Mexican Official Standards related to safety and corporate standards * Tracks the Legal Framework Matrix * Responsible for maintaining valid licenses, permits, and procedures related to safety, hygiene, and environmental matters * Responsible for applying all applicable regulations from STPS, ECOLOGIA, SEDUE, PROFEPA, SEMARNAT, and Civil Protection * Responsible for procedures Occupational Safety and Health: * Responsible for reporting and investigating accidents/incidents occurring in the company * Experience in incident and accident prevention Environmental Management: * Responsible for compliance with environmental regulations and other environmental-related requirements * Coordinates external services for hazardous waste, wastewater, etc. * Supervises environmental programs: waste, emissions, consumption, and compliance * Monitors, reports, and tracks key environmental indicators, including carbon footprint, energy consumption, and atmospheric emissions. Asset Security: * Responsible for developing protocols for theft prevention, unauthorized access prevention, and extortion prevention * Experience in implementing security protocols Operational Supervision: * Responsible for commissioning new, transferred, or modified machinery * Responsible for commissioning new production lines and operations * Ensures availability, good condition, and, where applicable, calibration of equipment for: working at heights, lockout\-tagout, electrical work, and atmospheric testing * Responsible for implementing and maintaining a Comprehensive Safety Program that promotes habits and behaviors aimed at protecting employees’ physical integrity, thereby reducing operational risk levels The responsibilities listed above are illustrative, not exhaustive, and may be adjusted according to organizational priorities Key Position Requirements: * Industrial, Environmental, Chemical Engineering, or related degree. * Specialization, experience, and knowledge in asset security. * Master’s degree or specialization in Safety and Environment. * 5 to 10 years or more of experience in a similar position. * Advanced English * Experience managing audits, EHS programs, and supervision * Technical Knowledge and Skills * Knowledge of STPS, SEMARNAT, and Civil Protection regulations * Experience managing budgets * Effective communication skills * Hazardous and chemical waste management experience * Knowledge of emergency response team management * Hazardous material spill response * Environmental legal requirements * ISO 14001 knowledge * Ability to maintain confidentiality of matters handled * Experience and knowledge of training legal framework * Results-oriented and people-oriented * Knowledge of theft prevention protocols, security programs, and asset security plans * Asset security knowledge Employment Type: Full-time Salary: $1,600\.00 \- $1,800\.00 per day Benefits: * Salary increases * Free parking * Life insurance * Company phone * Free uniforms * Grocery vouchers Work Location: On-site employment
