**Flexsteel Juarez** is looking of talent to the position as **EHS Engineer**. ***Main function:***The EHS Engineer is responsible for leading the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of programs and systems that support excellence in environmental, health \& safety and security. ***Key responsibilities:*** * Management, compliance and presentation of EHS KPIs. * To foster a culture of proactivity, responsibility, commitment and sustainability through robust EHS programs and processes. * Develop and manage EHS programs, policies and procedures. * Responsible of government procedures at the municipal, state and federal levels, and EHS legal compliance. * Manage ergonomics, injury case management, and return\-to\-work programs. * Schedule EHS training, studies, and drills. * Internal consultant and facilitator on EHS topics and training. * Handling external audits. * Audit the facilities and assess risks for timely prevention. * Incident investigation, root cause analysis, and implementation of corrective and preventive actions. * Participate in planning to incorporate new processes, machinery, and equipment, ensuring that all EHS precautions are included. ***Qualifications and skills:*** * Bachelor's degree in engineering, safety, or environmental science. * \+5 years of experience in EHS within the manufacturing industry. * Microsoft Office proficiency. * Analytical skills for problem\-solving and excellent knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies. * Effective written and oral communication skills at all levels of the organization. * English level B2\.
