




As a Sr Manufacturing Engineer here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for optimizing manufacturing operations and driving operational excellence. You will develop and oversee the implementation of efficient manufacturing processes, process improvements, and ensure compliance with safety regulations. In this role, you will impact the company's manufacturing operations and, consequently, its competitiveness in the marketplace. By implementing innovative technologies, streamlining processes, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement, you can enhance the company's ability to meet customer demands, stay competitive, and adapt to changing market conditions. **RESPONSABILITIES** * Keep manufacturing lines running with yields above 95%. * Execute improvement projects (kaizen/yamazumi) for plant productivity purposes. * Perform electronic root cause analysis, using formats such as A3, RCCA, and any manufacturing environment tools that aid in rapid problem resolution. * Realize preventive/corrective maintenance of manufacturing machines. * Search for new technologies for the optimization of electronic manufacturing processes (PCBAs). * Conduct external and internal audits of manufacturing engineering and/or processes. * Verify that manufacturing machinery complies with HSE standards and regulations. * Attend improvement meetings and/or conducting them to present problem resolution to other departments. * Track time for each manufacturing line, as well as new lines (NPIs) for creating routes in SAP. * Control manufacturing line expenses for review with their direct supervisor. * Provide feedback to manufacturing technicians on any aspect * Apply statistical concepts to control process variation. * Maintain strong and ongoing communication with design engineering groups. * Conduct capacity analyses for manufacturing lines. * Create PFMEAs, PMAPs, VMSs, etc., applicable to any production/manufacturing area. * Responsible for the knowledge and application of IPC standards for electronic tablets. **YOU MUST HAVE** * Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics * 5\+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering Expert knowledge of manufacturing processes, lean principles, and continuous improvement methodologies * **WE VALUE** * Advanced Engineering degrees like EE (Electrical Engineering), ME (Mechanical Engineering) * Strong leadership skills and ability to drive results * Passion for continuous improvement and operational excellence * SMT previous experience * Knowledge on IPC and ISO's for electronic engineering * Sap Managment **\#LI\-Onsite** Honeywell helps organizations solve the world's most complex challenges in automation, the future of aviation and energy transition.
