At HADVD architects, we are seeking a detail-oriented CAD Support Professional to create precise drawings of existing conditions from point cloud data, virtual walkthroughs, and on-site photographs. This role will be key in producing high-quality architectural drawing sets that accurately reflect the current state of each building, meeting project requirements, deadlines, and the highest quality standards. Key Responsibilities * Import point cloud files into AutoCAD templates and use them as a base to validate and draw building layouts. * Create and edit existing condition drawings using point cloud data, virtual walkthroughs, and photographs. * Prepare complete drawing sets, which may include: * Cover sheet * Floor plan * Reflected ceiling plan * Ceiling plan * Exterior elevations * Interior elevations * Kitchen equipment plan * Site architectural plan * Ensure drawings meet scope requirements and accurately represent current building conditions. * Communicate any schedule deviations or issues to project management. * Issue preliminary drawing sets for review and deliver final files with proper naming conventions to the cloud. * Update project management tools (e.g., Smartsheet) to reflect progress and delivery status. * Collaborate with the management team to clarify requirements and resolve project-related questions. Requirements: * Proficiency in AutoCAD with experience using point cloud files. * Experience with Autodesk Recap and/or Leica Cloudworx is a plus. * Ability to accurately interpret field-collected data. * Excellent organizational and communication skills. * Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
