Job Summary: We are seeking a Bodywork Mechanic or Bodyworker with trailer experience, focused on ensuring proper mechanical and structural functionality with quality and safety. Key Highlights: 1. Gonalby Bodywork and Mechanics is looking for a **Bodywork Mechanic or Bodyworker with experience**, specialized in **trailers**, possessing solid knowledge of **mechanical suspension**, braking systems, and preventive and corrective maintenance. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the proper mechanical and structural operation of trailers, guaranteeing safety, quality, and compliance with standards. **Main Responsibilities:** * Diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of **trailers**. * Preventive and corrective maintenance of mechanical systems. * Inspection, adjustment, and repair of **AREOLA mechanical suspension**. * Replacement and adjustment of **leaf springs**. * Diagnosis and maintenance of **ABS modules**. * Knowledge and inspection of **valves** (braking and related systems). * Structural and bodywork repairs on trailers. * Identification of mechanical failures and proposal of solutions. * Compliance with safety and quality standards in performed tasks. * Proper use of workshop tools and equipment. **Requirements** * Minimum education: **Secondary / Technical** (technical degree in mechanics preferred). * Minimum experience: **1 year** as a bodywork mechanic, bodyworker, or trailer mechanic. **Demonstrable knowledge in:** * Trailers. * Mechanical suspension. * ABS systems. * Leaf spring replacement. * Valves and braking systems. * **Preventive and corrective maintenance.** * Ability to work independently and in teams. * Responsible, committed, and results-oriented attitude. * Pneumatic mechanics. * Rotochamber replacement. * Air systems. **Desired Competencies:** * Mechanical diagnosis. * Attention to detail. * Organization and tidiness. * Responsibility and commitment. * Working under pressure. * Safety focus. **We Offer** * Competitive salary based on experience (practical test required). * Statutory benefits. * Job stability. * Option for an indefinite-term contract. * Monthly bonus of $1,000.00 (for punctuality, attendance, and cleanliness/organization)*.* **Working Hours** * Monday to Friday, 08:00–17:00 hrs; Saturday, 08:00–13:00 hrs, with a 1-hour break.
