Job Summary: The Laboratory Chemist performs and supports general laboratory activities, ensuring reliable and high-quality results through patient samples. Key Highlights: 1. The **Laboratory Chemist** must efficiently perform and support general laboratory activities to ensure reliable and high-quality results through samples collected from patients. Profile: * Bachelor's degree as a Clinical Chemist or Pharmacobiological Chemist (**degree and license**) * Age: (as per **YBFP**) * Minimum experience in sample collection (not mandatory) * Gender: No preference * Must be enrolled in the Program Profile Description: * Will become familiar with all laboratory areas (Hematology, Coagulation, Clinical Chemistry, Immunology, Hormones, Microbiology, Parasitology). * Collect samples (arterial and venous puncture samples, neonatal metabolic screening, nasopharyngeal swabs, and Pap smears). * Collect samples for microbiological cultures (throat swabs, nasal swabs, wound swabs). * Attend sample collection at hospital locations as requested (Emergency Department/Hospitalization/Therapy/Nurseries/Neonatal Intensive Care Unit/Reception/Operating Room). * Verify that samples submitted to the laboratory meet required specifications before processing; otherwise, notify the submitting person to request a new sample. * Accurately enter into the system laboratory requests corresponding to patient samples originating from laboratories or clinics offering contract laboratory services. **Schedule:** Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (including holidays) We Offer: Training in the field Potential employment upon program completion (salary and benefits) If interested, apply through this channel or via the Youth Building the Future Program (folio **3452110**) or contact us for more information at: **229 337 0393** Salary: $9,672\.99 per month Work Location: On-site employment
