FTTH Drafting Engineer

At TNG, a leader in structured cabling and telecommunications, we are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical GPON Network Drafting Engineer to join our engineering team. You will be responsible for digitizing and validating fiber optic infrastructure, ensuring that drawings accurately reflect field construction (As\-Built). Key Responsibilities: Creation and updating of As\-Built drawings in DWG format (AutoCAD). Technical documentation of external network projects (FTTH/GPON). Interpretation of physical surveys and digitization of routes. Recording and organization of connection diagrams in Racks and Optical Distribution Frames (ODF). Network inventory management using Office software (advanced Excel preferred). Requirements: Experience: Minimum 1–2 years in telecommunications network design or documentation. Software: Mandatory proficiency in AutoCAD (layers, blocks, scales) and Office (Excel). Technical Knowledge: Solid understanding of GPON architecture, identification of network components (splitters, NAPs, splice closures), and central office equipment (racks/PI). Skills: Ability to work collaboratively, results-oriented mindset, and excellent document organization. Education: Technical degree or completed/ongoing undergraduate studies in Telecommunications, Electronics, Civil Engineering, or related fields.
