Goods receipt and verification** One of the key responsibilities of the warehouse assistant is receiving goods. This involves verifying deliveries to ensure that the received items are correct and in good condition. The receipt process includes checking quantity and quality, as well as the condition of packaging for storage. If any discrepancies or damages are detected in the received goods, they must be reported immediately so appropriate actions can be taken. **2\. Inventory management** The warehouse assistant also plays a fundamental role in inventory management. This includes maintaining a detailed record of stock items, conducting periodic inventory audits, and ensuring all products are properly labeled and stored. They are also responsible for making adjustments for losses, obsolescence, or deterioration of any goods to ensure inventory records remain up to date.
