




Job Summary: We are seeking a Technical Support Specialist / IT Infrastructure Administrator to provide user support, perform preventive and corrective maintenance, and manage institutional networks and services. Preventive and corrective maintenance of computer equipment **Position: Technical Support Specialist / IT Infrastructure Administrator** **Job Description:** We require personnel with experience in technical support and IT infrastructure administration to provide user support, perform preventive and corrective maintenance, and administer institutional networks and services. **Main Responsibilities** **End-User Support:** * Respond to and resolve incidents reported by users related to: * Power-on, reboot, or shutdown failures of computer equipment. * Domain connection and network service access issues. * Errors in authorized software and institutional applications. * Internet, email, and printing failures. * Technical support for specific software or hardware. * Creation, configuration, and maintenance of network and email user accounts. * Detection, removal, and prevention of viruses, malware, or malicious software. **Mobile Telephony Support:** * Configure new mobile devices, perform SIM card replacements, and back up data as needed. * Contact and follow up with mobile service providers to resolve major incidents. **Installation and Technical Maintenance:** * Install, configure, and commission computer equipment and peripherals. * Install and update software with authorized licenses. * Install and configure specialized hardware required by operational departments. * Verify and apply operating system and corporate software updates. * Perform data backups on equipment requiring maintenance or experiencing critical failures. * Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance of computer equipment. * **Required Experience and Knowledge** * Professional experience in technical support and IT infrastructure administration. * Proficiency with client operating systems: Windows 10, 11, and macOS. * Basic knowledge of server operating systems (Windows Server 2012–2022). * Technical knowledge of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT). * Administration and use of MDM (Mobile Device Management) software. * Familiarity with security tools: antivirus, perimeter and host firewalls, IDS and IPS. * Configuration and maintenance of computer equipment (PCs, laptops, mobile devices, and tablets). * Administration of LAN and WAN networks. * Creation of domain user accounts. * IP address reservation in DHCP. * Configuration and administration of WiFi networks. * Configuration and administration of VPN (user account provisioning and deactivation). * Use and configuration of cloud-based tools.
