Job Summary: We are seeking a Data Engineer to design and implement scalable data solutions, optimize GCP Cloud ecosystems, and translate business requirements into technical solutions. Translation of business requirements into technical solutions An insurance company in CDMX is seeking: **DATA ENGINEER** Profile: * Bachelor's degree in Computer Systems Engineering, Information Technology, or related field * Certification: "Professional Data Engineer GCP" (Preferred) **Essential General Knowledge:** * 1\. Experience in designing data pipelines, data modeling, and data architectures (DW, DL, Lakehouse) * 2\. Knowledge of the GCP ecosystem Experience with native GCP cloud data services: * 1\. BigQuery * 2\. Dataflow * 3\. Composer/Airflow * 4\. Cloud Storage * 5\. Pub/Sub * 6\. Cloud Functions/Run (Preferred) Knowledge of development and configuration of: * Code repositories Programming languages: * 1\. SQL (Advanced) * 2\. Python * 3\. Java * 6\. Terraform (IaC configuration) DataOps/DevOps * 1\. Version control and Git collaboration (GitHub / GitLab / Bitbucket / Harness) * 2\. IaC (Terraform or similar) * 3\. Deployment automation Desirable knowledge: "DevOps Tools Experience: * Jenkins usage * Harness usage Job Description (Responsibilities): * 1\. Requirement analysis focused on evaluating technical feasibility and the impact of integrating new data sources on the existing solution. * 2\. Design and implementation of scalable and efficient data solutions enabling data access and analysis aligned with user needs. * 3\. Execution and suggestion of improvements to the GCP Cloud Data ecosystem (processing optimization, monitoring, and cost management). * 4\. Development of robust and scalable solutions using GCP services based on user requirements. * 5\. Execution of functional and performance testing. * 6\. Application of best practices in development and data management. * 7\.
