Job Summary: Multispecialty Technician responsible for the installation and commissioning of white goods, electronics, audio, and video equipment in high-end residential locations. Key Highlights: 1. Expert installation of household appliances and multimedia equipment. 2. Safe handling of electrical and gas connections. 3. Ensures protection of the work area and excellent presentation. A prestigious luxury retail company and major department stores, in collaboration with Microformas, is seeking: Multispecialty Technician (White Goods, Electronics, Audio, and Video) 100% installation and commissioning (excludes repair or fault diagnosis) Responsibilities: Install new equipment (white goods, electronics, audio, and video), ensuring proper functionality. Connect equipment requiring dedicated outlets. Install shut-off valves, angle valves, and ball valves. Perform connections using compression nuts and supply hoses. Install vampire valves without cutting pipes. Connect LP or natural gas using copper coils. Anchor heavy brackets to concrete, brick, or drywall. Knowledge of appropriate wall anchors based on wall type being drilled. Protect floors, walls, and furniture before beginning an installation (maintain a spotless work area). Maintain photographic records before, during, and after installation. Essential Requirements: Education: Technical degree (electricity, electromechanics, or related field) or general high school diploma. Minimum 3 years of experience installing household appliances in high-end residential locations. Experience installing washer-dryers, dishwashers, or gas stoves at customers’ homes. Ability to safely connect 110 V and 220 V electrical equipment. Familiarity with basic water connections (hoses, shut-off valves, compression nuts). Understanding of the difference between LP and natural gas, and ability to connect each appropriately. Punctuality. Excellent presentation (clean appearance with full uniform). Clear communication with clients (explaining what will be done and the approximate time required); clearly inform clients if something cannot be installed. Discreet and respectful conduct during installations. Desirable Qualifications: Knowledge of wall-mounted TV installation and audio system connections. Ability to anchor to drywall, concrete, and brick (use of stud detectors and correct anchors). Manufacturer certification (e.g., Samsung, LG, Mabe, Bosch, Whirlpool). Gas fitter license issued by competent authority. Valid driver’s license. Prior work experience in socioeconomic level A/B neighborhoods.
