Job Summary: We are seeking a Sample Seamstress with proven experience in multi-style garment construction from scratch, emphasizing quality, speed, and attention to detail. Key Highlights: 1. Collaboration with designers and pattern makers to improve quality. Sample seamstress with PROVEN EXPERIENCE in multi-style garment construction and assembly from scratch, including garments for babies, children, men, girls, women, etc. High-quality craftsmanship, speed, proficiency with various sewing machines, and strong attention to detail. MUST BE ABLE TO FULLY ASSEMBLE A GARMENT FROM SCRATCH, WITH EFFICIENCY AND EFFECTIVENESS. IF THIS REQUIREMENT IS NOT MET, PLEASE DO NOT APPLY. **Duties and Responsibilities**: \- Interpret design intent and construct counter-sample prototypes, ensuring methods and documentation align with manufacturing methods and processes. \- Understand all patterns and how they interconnect to complete a garment. \- Operate sewing machines or sew by hand. \- Collaborate with pattern makers to identify quality improvement opportunities and support necessary adjustments during the Product Development process. \- Maintain technical specifications. \- Measure garments during construction according to specifications. \- Identify and communicate fabric behavior relevant to garment construction. \- Establish and maintain effective communication with designers, pattern makers, and production teams. \- Collaborate with designers, pattern makers, and product teams to define and maintain standard fit, sizing, and product consistency by product type/category and end-use. \- Report on prototype and sample progress, ensuring adherence to product development and creation timelines. \- Develop and maintain accurate samples and measurement specifications. \- Excellent attention to detail. \- Participate in onboarding training programs for new hires. \- Capable of working independently and collaboratively in a team environment. \- Manage workstation and perform routine equipment maintenance programs. \- Other related duties as required.
