**TRALICOM is looking for a Classifier in Miguel Hidalgo, Mexico City** ------------------------------------------------------------------- A logistics and customs sector company is seeking a **Customs Classifier** with proven experience in tariff analysis and determination of tariff classifications, responsible for ensuring the correct classification of goods in accordance with the Customs Law, the General Import and Export Tax Tariff (TIGIE), and applicable regulations, thereby minimizing fiscal, legal, and operational risks in foreign trade operations. **Responsibilities** * Analyze and determine the **tariff classification** of goods. * Interpret technical data sheets, catalogs, commercial descriptions, blueprints, and product samples. * Prepare and validate **classification files** supported by technical and legal evidence. * Review customs entry forms (pedimentos) to ensure correct tariff classification, NICO, rates, duties, and regulations. * Identify and apply **Non-Tariff Regulations and Restrictions (RRNA)**. * Provide technical support to the traffic, operations, and customer service departments. * Keep classifications updated in response to changes in legislation or the TIGIE. * Participate in consultations and corrections of customs entry forms (pedimentos). * Support the development of internal classification criteria. **Requirements** * Bachelor’s degree in International Trade, International Business, Customs, or related field. * **Minimum 1–3 years of experience as a Customs Classifier**. * Solid knowledge of: * **Customs Law** * General and Complementary Rules * Explanatory Notes to the Harmonized System * Proficiency in **customs systems (CASA, ADUANET or similar)**. * Technical and legal analytical ability. * Proficiency in Excel and documentation tools. * Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple operations. **Key Competencies** * Technical-legal analysis * Regulatory judgment * Document organization and control * Teamwork **Desired Education Level:** Higher education — degree holder **Desired Experience Level:** Expert level **Departmental Function:** Logistics / Transportation **Industry:** Import/Export **Skills:** * CASA system * ADUANET *This job posting originates from the Talenteca.com job board:* *https://www.talenteca.com/anuncio?j\_id\=694eed133c00006f00fd8c8b\&source\=indeed*
